Will there still be skiing?
Absolutely yes. The Vail ski season starts in November and is scheduled to run through April 23rd, 2023.
Kosher Skiing is Perfect! Where do we fly in to?
There are 2 options to get to Vail. Guests can either fly into Denver International Airport (DEN) or Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE). Denver Airport is approximately 2 hours from the Arrabelle via I-70W, and Eagle Airport is approximately 35 minutes from the Arrabelle via I-70E. We have arranged for group rates for ground transportation. There is no need to rent a car, as Vail is accessible by foot, and the Arrabelle has shuttles that will take you anywhere you need to go in the village.
Do you have group discounts on skiing and activities?
Yes! We work closely with Vail Resorts to ensure that our guests will receive the maximum discounts that are offered. Discounts apply to ski rentals, lift tickets, and activities as well!
Not everyone in my family skis, what other activities are available?
Vail has so much to offer! You can explore the beauty of Colorado’s snow-covered mountains with a wide range of winter activities. The back-country can be explored by snowshoes or cross-country skis, dog sledding, and snowmobile tours. Whether you are an avid skier, nature lover, adventure seeker, or just want to relax and restore, you’ll create lasting memories when you join us for Pesach.
What are you planning for the Shabbos after Pesach?
Pesach this year concludes late Thursday night (April 14), and it might be difficult for you to get home in time for Shabbos. Our program will continue straight through the weekend, and guests will depart on Sunday, April 16. We are also offering our standard 10-night program should you not want to stay after Pesach.
Is there a ski valet in the hotel?
Yes! The Arrabelle has a Ski Valet at the base of the Eagle Bahn Gondola to get you on the slopes as quickly as possible.
What is the dining experience like?
Our guests will enjoy a gourmet breakfast and a selection of packaged food and snacks to take on the mountain. A hot, fresh lunch will be served slope-side daily. We will have Apres’ Ski with hot food and an open bar, followed by a 4-course plated dinner. End your day with snacks, hot food stations, cigars, and more in our tea-room.
What are our lunch options while skiing?
Ski right in for a hot, delicious Kosher for Pesach lunch or take some of our ready-to-go, pre-packaged foods.
What options does your Pesach Program have for the Seder?
We offer 2 different seder choices:
- Family Seder: In the main ballroom, you will have your own seder at your own pace.
- Private Seder: We have a limited number of private rooms that can be booked for your seder and can accommodate up to 40 people. You may have your seder in your private residence, facilities permitting. This option does come with an extra charge.
What type of Matzah do you have?
We offer all types of matzah to accommodate everyone. Hand shmurah and machine shmurah are both available, and we offer whole wheat, oat, and spelt matzah. If you have a specific matzah requirement, we suggest bringing a few pounds with you to be safe.
Will there be a Day Camp?
Yes! Children aged 3-12 years old can enjoy Day Camp while younger kids have fun at ‘Kiddie Camp’, which is open daily. Extra precautions will be taken to ensure the health and safety of our young guests.
