Rabbi Yekusiel Kalmenson is the founding rabbi of BMH, (Bais Medrash of Hancock Park) a vibrant congregation in Los Angeles. Rabbi Kalmenson is known for his inspiring leadership and ability to connect to his audiences. He has traveled the globe, bringing the light of Judaism to communities in Ukraine and Greece, and has served as a chaplain in over 40 correctional facilities and military bases, offering hope and transformation in challenging environments.
In addition to his rabbinic work, Rabbi Kalmenson has founded several renowned Behavioral Healthcare companies in Southern California. He is the creator of the pioneering “Discovery Model” a diagnostic tool and curriculum for Mental Health and chemical dependency, developed in collaboration with Yale University.
