Zusha
Hasidic Soul Fusion Folk Band
ZUSHA is a Hasidic/Soul/Fusion/Folk band seeking to inspire the world through their original music, combining ancient tradition with modern melody.
Shlomo Gaisin (lead vocalist) and Zecharyeh Goldschmiedt (guitarist, supporting vocalist), have traveled the world with essential messages of torah and unity, strumming, concurrently humming to sold-out (souled-out) audiences around the globe including places such as New York, California, Toronto, Jerusalem, Russia, London, Uman, & Australia.
Zusha is currently in the midst of tracking their 3rd studio album at Mason Jar Music and their 2nd EP. Although it is too soon to announce the respective names of the upcoming album and EP, we can share one thing for sure, the centripetal-force of them both is the perennial explorations of the audio-worlds of prayer and song, drawing upon new waves of the infinite ocean of sound and utilizing new instruments of song to optimally express the song of the soul. Without a doubt, the new album will be released speedily, in its due time. With Hashem’s help, as per usual, Zusha will embark on a multi-leg world tour following the release of the album. Stay tuned for a performance near You!
How It All Began.
After an informal introduction by a mutual friend in the East Village of New York City, Zecharyeh and Shlomo instantly became friends and extemporizing partners. They would often spend Shabbis together at Chabad House Bowery, singing and composing melodies that pierced the heavens. The band Zusha is a natural extension of this friendship, and growth-oriented unity continues to propel their music from one heart to another.
Almost 5 years later, Zusha is still finding ways to create and innovate. Zusha is particularly unabating and determined in their desire to reveal the hidden light buried within space, time, and soul through the elevational mediums of choice: music, tasters of supernal wisdom, deep-seated rapture, and genuine smiles. The after-affects being that of infectious positive thought, speech and action.
