Dr. Cirelle K. Rosenblatt, R. Psych. is the founder & Clinical Director of Advance Concussion Clinic (ACC), BC’s only dedicated concussion clinic since its founding in 2013. ACC represents the realization of Dr. Rosenblatt’s vision to bring comprehensive, inter-disciplinary care to the management of concussion in BC.
With over 20 years of experience in rehabilitation neuropsychology, having worked in hospitals including Mount Sinai Medical Center, Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine and NYU’s Rusk Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine, Dr. Rosenblatt is widely regarded as a concussion expert. She is a member of the BC Concussion Advisory Network, and has achieved recognition as BC’s only Certified ImPACT Clinician (CIC)—verifying her knowledge and expertise in baseline test interpretation and Return to Play decision-making.
Dr. Rosenblatt is the neuropsychologist for the Canadian Olympic and National snow teams, including the Snowboard Cross, Slopestyle, and BC Alpine ski teams, as well as professional football, mountain biking and other competitive sports teams. She has been an invited speaker to and consults with physicians, lawyers, hospitals, schools, athletic organizations, and news outlets such as CBC TV, Global TV, CBC radio, and AM 1130.
She completed her Ph.D. in Health Psychology, specializing in neuropsychology, in a joint program between Yeshiva University’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine & Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology in New York City. Dr. Rosenblatt moved to B.C. with her husband and their family in 2003 when he became the Rabbi at Schara Tzedeck Synagogue where her serves to the present time. They live in Vancouver with their 5 children.
